Hi all, this post is going to be different than my previous ones. I’m a hockey player, and today marks the one year anniversary of the horrific plane crash that took the lives of the Russian Kontinental Hockey League’s entire Lokomotiv Yaroslavl hockey team. They set out to play a game in Minsk, yet crashed almost right after taking off; imagine being ready to go off and travel to play a game you love and never making it there. This hit home last year, and even to this day, it still is painful to think about it. Just take the time to think about these players’ families, as it’s one full year without being able to see their loved ones. Also, just tell your loved ones how much they mean to you-take the time to appreciate your friends and family. This reaffirms how precious life is, so please, enjoy it to the fullest.Thanks.
