Two Years in Moscow

Honestly, it feels just like yesterday that I stepped off the plane at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport, ready to start my foray into teaching English. At the time, I wasn’t sure about how things would work out or how long I’d want to do this. Fast forward to today, and it marks the 24 months since I arrived/my third year of teaching, thus proving that time does fly when you’re having fun. It’s been an amazing ride so far, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world! I’ve been blessed to have had a bunch of amazing coworkers, friends, and even a girlfriend to make my current stint in Moscow the best I could ask for!

What does this mean for the blog? Well, I’ve been in the preliminary stages of planning, but my goals for the year are to visit more of the Balkans in Croatia, Slovenia, Albania, and Kosovo, more of Russia, and even Central Asia. Nothing is certain for sure, but I hope that this year will bring more exciting travel to lesser traveled places!

At any rate, cheers, Moscow. Here’s to two years and more!
