Last day in Brno

For being the last day in the Czech Republic’s second biggest city, today was a bit unclimatic. Really, all I did was walk around and relax in the parks-what a letdown, right? Honestly, I had planned more stuff to do for today, but the things I wanted to do were closed/not open (curse you, Czech/European business hours!). So, I had to improvise. What to do when nothing you wanted to see/do is available? Simple: walk around. Yeah, it’s not much, but it was nice to be able to leisurely (if 90 degree heat can allow for that) walk around the city and just soak it up for one last time. I did get to see parts that previously I hadn’t been aware of. When I was on the grounds of the Sternbek castle, I was privvy to a phenomenal view of the city; I even got to see the surrounding fields on the outskirts of town! All in all, while I did feel like I probably should have done more, I felt like it was an enjoyable last day in Brno. And for tomorrow? I’ll be heading off to Olomouc for the last leg of my trip! As always, stay tuned for more updates.
